This really has been a year of surprises! I found myself moving - again - and back to my roots. Tryon turned out to be a stepping stone for the connections I needed to make to finally find where I want to put down roots - and back to the midwest, where I am originally from - to Bloomington IN. It is a wonderful town with a great music scene and university. I have been here just a little over a month and have already met some great musicians and will be giving my debut concert at an art gallery in downtown Bloomington on August 16. I am looking forward to collaborating with other artists here and traveling and performing in some of the larger cities close by as well. And I still have a connection to NC. I will be back there for a house concert performing with two other wonderful artists the end of the month.

What an amazing year 2011 is turning out to be! I found myself making yet another move in December to the wonderful town of Tryon NC with a rich community of artists and cultural events going on. I had a wonderful holiday concert at the local historical Melrose Inn and will be doing Sunday afternoon Musical Salons there each month with a guest artist. Check the schedule to see who will be with me each month; and if you are in the area, please come and join us.
With spring on the horizon, I will also be on the road soon, offering my concert/workshop package. I would love to see you when I am in your area.
November 15, 2010 I just had the most wonderful concert with 5 other artists - a benefit for the renovation of a landmark building in downtown Asheville - the Masonic Temple - where we also had the concert. It was also to introduce the Positive Music Association chapter in Asheville that I am forming. The theatre and acoustics were amazing, the audience wonderful and we all had a great time!
 Kaleo is also an artist with the GINA for Missing Persons Foundation, a group of musical artists who help bring attention and media awareness to missing persons....
